Our doggie day care experience provides wide open spaces for plenty of off-leash play.

 At Misty Glen we are all about the great outdoors!  With more than 5,000 square feet of outdoor, turfed, fenced in play area, your dogs can play in safe environment while supervised by one of our doggie play specialists.  Our play specialists are experienced, dedicated and enjoy nothing more than playing with a group of dogs throughout the day!

Day Camp is offered Monday through Friday 6:45 am - 6:00 pm., Saturdays 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

We have toys (ball-throwing is an all-day activity!), climbing equipment, and of course there are plenty of birds, geese, deer, groundhogs and our baby goats (yes, we have goats) for your dog(s) to watch and bark about!

Little dogs (generally 35lbs and under), and Big dogs (generally 35lbs and over), play in different groups. Each group has a dedicated indoor playroom which comes in handy in the event of cold, hot or wet weather.  Day Camp pricing is $26 per day, $14 for an additional dog.  We offer a half-day rate at $20 for the first dogs and $12 for the second dog.  A half day is defined as 5 hours or less. We also have a package rate for full and half days, which is buy 10 get one FREE.

Day Camp for Puppies

Puppies - yay! We specialize in socializing puppies!  We start puppies at 12 weeks of age (or earlier if they have first round vaccinations including rabies).  Dogs need to be spayed/neutered if older than 6 months of age.

Requirements

A hard copy or email copy of current vaccines including rabies, distemper, parvo, bordatella.  We highly recommend, but do not require the canine influenza vaccine.  Your dog should be flea and tick controlled. Puppies must be neutered if over 6 months of age, spayed if more than 7 months of age. Our paperwork, filled out (link to print paperwork).  When arriving, your dog must be leashed at all times on our property. For your dog's first day at Camp, please call or book online (booking widget is top left on navigation bar or link below). You'll want to arrive prior to 11:00 am on your dog's first day of Camp.  Plan to spend

5-10 minutes talking with our play specialist to go over paperwork and to let us know more about your pup! Plan to leave them for the day or half-day (half day is 5 hours or less).

Breed Restrictions

We love all breeds of dogs! However, due to our facility limitations, play styles, energy and size/density, we do not accept the power breeds at this time.  Akita, boxer, cane corso, pit bull terrier, german shepherd, belgian shepherd, rottweiler, toy fox terrier, english bulldog, american bulldog, shar pei,mastiff, great pyrannese, beable, staffordshire terriers, french bulldog and doberman are among the restricted breeds. If you have a mixed breed dog who's DNA includes one or more of these breeds, please don't hesitate to give us a call to discuss our guidelines. These restrictions apply to both day camp and overnight boarding.  We'd love to hear from you so your pup can come to play!  We reserve the right to adjust our breed restrictions at any time.

Health Restrictions

Due to our activities and our facility make-up, dogs must be independently mobile, be able to stand without lifting, and have no advanced age or health-related problems which would prevent them from participating in a group play environment.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact to discuss.  If you have an elderly pet, we have a number of wonderful places we can recommend where they can stay in a more quiet and less active environment.

Behavior Restrictions

Dogs must display good manners with other dogs and staff. Responding to their name is a must!

We play ball daily in camp, thus dogs who are toy aggressive/possessive will find a better fit with a facility that does not allow toys.
